block and tackle replacement

Question

I am looking for a replacement for the block and tackle sash lifter shown in the pictures. The windows are approx. 20 yrs old and the sash is ~18 lbs. I will need a right and left side if they are handed. I will also need replacements for the pins that go in the bottom of the sash.

Hello, thank you for posting!

You have an older crossbow balance that is no longer made, but as long as the spring is a 1/2" in diameter, our S795 can be used as a replacement. Please review the below video for a step by step guide in choosing the correct balance. these balances are not handed. It sounds like you may also need new pivot bars. To move forward, we will need to see pictures of the original removed from the window frame. Please let me know if you have any questions.
