both coil springs and shoes for bath window

A quick learner from St Louis Mo says:

window is a approx 31x36 replacement by Relibilt /Survivor window. One coil spring went and then the second on lower sash on another day. Lower sash is 28x18" and weighs about 14lb.

This seems to be one coil on each side window. so we need left and right side shoes and coils.

Enclose find photos. label info as in photo 31.75x37.75 999166020001$M 7100DHS. Thanks,

Gerald

This looks like a 15-087 Shoe, which uses our Series 180 Coil Balances. The cam is a little different with yours though. Can you show us the pivot bar that fits into that cam? That way I can determine if you're fine using the same pivot bar you have with the new shoe. If the sash weighs exactly 14 lbs, you could use (1) of the S180-7 7 lb springs on both sides of the sash, for a total of 14 lbs of support.

Here are the photos you asked for. We Reweighed the window and it is indeed 14 lb .. thanks Jerry

Hey Gerald. You might have to shave down that bottom point on the pivot bar, but otherwise I see no reason why it wouldn't work with the 15-087, as its pin shape is very similar to the 26-040, which is commonly used with this pivot shoe. Let me know if you have further questions.
