broken cord in a channel balance

A quick learner from CA says:
Channel balance have the following stamped on it:

31 3 GV cmc 7

Only the cord is broken, but I think I need to order a new channel balance to replace the old.
Do you have the part with the above number?

Thanks for posting. Sounds like you have a 32" block & tackle balance with a stamp option of 3130. I'm afraid that's all I can tell based on your information, though. Now you just need to pick out the top and bottom fittings in order to determine the Series.

I recommend that you look at our Channel Balance Home Page and follow the steps in order to find the Series that best matches what you have.

Yes we do have a 32 " channel balance but there is no stamp on the channel balance at all. Since the channel balance is 1/2 '' I will order the 32 " 350 channel balance with option 3130 ( I assume it refers to the weight of the window which is 20 lb. )

I I'm a little confused. You say you have no stamp on the balance at all, but in your first post you said that it has "31 3" stamped on it, which usually corresponds to our 3130 option. Fortunately, this will work with a sash that weighs 20 pounds, so you should be okay.

I do have 31 3 GV cmc 7 on the channel balance, I thought this info was not enough to identify the replacement channel balance. I'll order the 32 " 350 channel balance with option 3130 and go from there, Thanks you for your help.
