caradco window crank replacement

A home owner from denver colorado says:
Hi I have a number of windows that the crank to open the window no longer opens the window. Entryguard truth is stamped on the longer of the two arms. the longer arm is 9.5 inches and the shorter hinged am is 3 13/16 of an inch. I believe your product 39-155 and 39-156 seems to match the dimensions. Is this a project a not to good handyman can do and what other items would I need beside the crank assembly?
Thanks for your response and I will order as soon as I determine it is something I can do.

Thanks for posting! Replacing these types of operators is a fairly simple project. The first thing you need to do is lift up the wood sill trim from the window. You can use a prybar for this, like our 75-081. Just be careful, as the trim is held on with nails. You don't want the trim to break!

Once it's removed, you can then access the operator screws.
