casement widow operator

A home owner from Traverse City. MI says:
The operator for this casement window is stripped and will not open or close the window. The part is stamped "Standard-Themson Corp, Dayton, Ohio, USA, Patent Pending"
The operator arms are both 16" long.
The house was built in 1954 and the windows are perfect other than the 2 units are that the stripped. We know we may not be able to get an identical part but will try anything.
Thank you!!
Lauri

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Hey, Lauri. Unfortunately, this is a very old operator that is no longer made. The manufacturer recommends attempting to substitute with a newer operator like our 39-389 and 39-386 handle. It's not an exact fit, though, and may require some measure of retrofitting.
A home owner says:
THANKS. I ORDERED THE 39-389

Let's hope it works and I will order more of these.
