casement window hardware

A home owner from akron ohio says:
we have LP windows (American Seal) they were purchased approx 14 years ago and one of the crank assemblies is broken. the worm gear just spins out of the housing when you try to close the window. it appears as though the housing is stripped out where the keeper bushing screws in on top of the worm gear post. we have the darker color which is brown or maybe dark clay. I also have no idea if there is an easy way to replace. we have sold our home and it is an item that needs to be replaced in the home inspection. the picture included is of one of the good cranks

Thanks for posting! It's a bit hard to identify your operator while it's still installed, but you may want to see our 39-028E & 39-027E. These appear similar and both come in bronze, which looks like the color you have here. Compare them to your hardware and let me know.

To uninstall these operators, you'll have to gently pry up the wood trim with a pry-bar. Just be careful! You don't want to crack it.
