channel balance

Home Owner from Columbus, IN
The channel balance broke in our window. We have Philips windows (which are no longer made from a company in Indiana)

It is a tilt window, with a plain channel.

The bottom of the window broke...and the part that connects to the spring in the channel balance broke at the bottom. We think we need to replace with Series 795.

Attaching pictures for more diagnoses...I don't know if any of them will be helpful or not. We think the channel balance on the left is about to break as well.

Thanks for posting. This indeed looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. Be sure to double-check how your balance attaches to the window frame. For our standard Series 795 Balances, it screws into the jamb track via a clip at the top of the cord; but for some versions of this balances this is a hook instead. If you're uncertain, show us a picture both of this clip/hook, as well as the hole in the jamb track they attach to. You might need our 15-194 1" T-Lock Shoe instead of the default that comes with the Series 795 (our 15-195). Look over the dimensions to confirm.
