channel balance not attached to the window

Question

I have many windows that are hard to open, close, several with at least one channel balance that is not attached to the window, like in the picture I attached. I included a picture of the bottom of the channel balance that reads 2730. There is not a brand or any other marking on the window that I can find.

Don't worry about that. You can't find the brand or the balance Series number on the metal channel. The only way to identify a balance is to compare the plastic ends to the balances in our selection. Take a look here to narrow it down. Once you do, you'll want to select a 28" balance with a 2730 stamp option, per the number printed on your old channel.
