channel balances

A home owner from Fort Myers, Fl. says:
Looking at your website I believe I need the S380-29 channel. I have hurricane proof windows and they are heavy. The stamp on them is 28F. I was wondering if a 28D would equate to the 2840, would the 28F be two steps up to the 2860? Thank You

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Thanks for posting! Yes, usually a stamp of 28F corresponds to our 2860 option. You may want to weigh your window sash and compare it to the weight rating shown for the 2860 just in case, though.
