channel balance option weight differences

What are the weight differences for the following channel balance options for the 380 series:
2810, 2820, 2830, 2840, and 2850.

Hi Tom,

29" Series 380 Stamp Options:
2810 will carry a window sash weight range of 7 through 12 pounds.
2820 will carry 12 through 16 pounds.
2830 will carry 16 through 23 pounds.
2840 will carry 23 through 28 pounds.
2850 will carry 28 through 32 pounds.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

No, we do not recommend using an option that supports either a lighter or heavier load than what your window is. These are delicate systems and it's important to only get what you need. Anything stronger or weaker and the window will not work properly.
