The 15-228 shoe is compatible with either the 1/2" thick Series 160 or the 3/8" thick Series 165 coil springs. Measure the original spring to confirm the best fit. The corresponding covers can be viewed on the series product page.
You will need to get the stamp off the original upper coil as well to determine the correct weighted option. If there is no markings, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

For a 1/2" thick, please review the Series 160 coil springs. We do not carry a 8 pound option for the Series 160 coils. If you need to confirm the exact amount or weighted coils needed, please provide the weight of the sash to move forward.
