coil balance shoe

Question

I just need to replace broken metal part , that you turn, on a coil balance shoe. Do I need to replace coil spring, that is not damaged? I might be ordering coil balance shoe- part #15-177.Also ,do you have the tool that is a spreader that you use to widen space where the balance shoe is located? I don't want to cut any of the area where the balance shoe is located.Thanks

I am afraid we don't sell the metal cams separately from these pivot shoes for coil balances; however if the coil balances are undamaged, you can just replace the pivot shoe itself. As far as jamb spreaders, see our 75-069. The video below shows how to use them. The second video does show how to do the cutout method instead if you want to consider it.
