coil spring for vinyl double hung window

Question

I just need the spring. I can take it off of the spool on the other end, so I don't need anything else. If you look closely the coil is stamped with 5K. Not sure what that means. I doubt it stands for kilograms because I am american. There's one coil on either side of the window pane & only one has broken  The coil spring is 1/2 inch wide.

Your pivot shoe is a match for our 15-177 which uses the Series 152 coil springs. If your spring has the number "5" on it, you may need the S152-5 5 pound spring but you can always weigh your sash on a scale and divide the weight by the number of coils on both sides of the window to confirm.
