constant force spring coil, 8lb window sash

I need to replace the coil on double hung window. all the information I know is:
window (W) is 32 inch
Window (H) is 24 inch
Coil (W) is 3/4 inc
Coil (L) is 38 or 40 inch.

Safwat, are there any numbers or markings printed on the coil balance(s)?

there was no number on the coil.

the above provided information is only this I have .please keep in mind that I already ordered 4 coils #S170-334 .under order $ 314678. I installed 2 of them and the window still comes down by itself sometimes. It seemed that I did not consider the tension of the coil when I ordered them. could you please tell me the right tension with the right size based on the provided information. your immediate response is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the balances you have installed can't support the weight of your window.

Could you please remove your window sash, place it on a scale, and weigh it? Then, report to us the weight in pounds so that we can have a better idea as to what balance would work.

coil size 34" width x 40" length.

Safwat, it looks like the proper coil balance replacement for your window is the S170-409 Coiled Balance Spring, which can support window sashes weighing 9 lbs.
