correct latches needed

Handy Person from massachusetts

THe first picture is the RIGHT side of my existing Mastic window, and the 2nd one is the left side.

THe ones I ordered, 26-420 and 26-419 do not have holes drilled in them nor were screws included. Please let me know which are the correct ones to order. Will need 6 for each side.

Hi there, Rob.

It sounds like you're looking for an internal tilt latch. We'd be happy to help but we would need you to remove an undamaged latch and show us some photos. That would be the best way for us to help.

attached are the 2 pictures, one of the latch removed, and the second is a view of the top of the latch . need to order the correct ones.

This is time sensitive as 2 of my windows no longer stay closed, and can blow open on a windy day, including in 2 bedrooms. Thanks,

By the way, there is currently only 1 predrilled hole in the sash, tho I know I may need to drill a 2nd one to accomodate the replacement

Thank you for getting back to us. I'm afraid your latch is no longer available but we can still help. It will just require a bit of handy work.

In situations like yours, we recommend converting to a surface mount latch to fit over top of where the old internal tilt latch installed. Take a look at the video below that will guide you through every step of this process. You'll then need to find a tilt latch that will fit the space available; we have detailed dimensions in each case that you can use as a reference.
