difference between 28" Series 395 Channel Balance and Series 371

Question

I have a 28" long channel balance. It's 1/2 wide. 2740 is stamped on the body. I found 2 channel balances on your site. What is the difference? Which one do I need? Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to us. The Series 395 and Series 371 have a few differences. For example, the bottom shoe depth and the top fittings differ for each. We're happy to help ID your hardware but we'll need to see an undamaged assembly removed from the window along with close up photos of the top and bottom fittings. Can you also show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism?
