door latch for patio sliding glass door

There are no ID anywhere on door or latch. It looks like a Swisco model (?) The mechanism seems to be the problem. The lever does not seem to have any effect when door is open or shut. It's about 8 years old; builder original. Thanks.

Hey there. This looks a little like our 82-265 Mortise Lock; look it over and see if you agree. For a keeper, see the 82-249.
