double hung window balance

Question

Hi,
I have to replace the balances on two windows marked 30C BSI.
Attached pics. They look a lot like the Series 795. Will they fit? The window is 32" from top to bottom. Would I get the 30" or 31"?

One more thing, The balance shoe has a patent number 4810108.

Thanks for posting, Alan! The Series 795 balance looks close, but lets get some more information before we go any further. First, what is the length of the metal channel itself? Do not count the plastic shoe in this measurement.

Speaking of that plastic shoe, though, what is its width from ear to ear?
