faceplate and keeper

Home Owner from Aptos, California
HI. In order to install and pet door on our sliding patio door, I I removed the faceplate?(not sure if that what's its called but it's the cosmetic piece on the edge of sliding door that goes over what is showing in pic). you can see the two screw holes top and bottom. And also the keeper for the dual strikes that attached to frame on wall.. And now I cannot find them and need to replace since we sold our house and new owner requests dog door gone. Please help!!! It's a simonton sliding patio door.

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. It appears the mortise lock shown here already has a face plate. That would be something like the 82-239. We also have the 82-265. The 82-249 keeper is compatible with both of these locks. Take a look and see what you think.
