glw patio door replacement hardware - location of hardware is bottom of door

Question

I need a replacement part for the bottom roller of a GLW patio door.  Please see attached pictures.  If this part is not available, is there any part that could be substituted for it?  Thank you in advance for your help regarding this matter.

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. This roller is discontinued and no longer available but luckily we can still help. Take a look at the 81-279. The design is different but customers reported that the wheels are better than the noisy treads on the old roller. Just note that the adjustment screw for the 81-279 is a little higher so you may need to lift the edge of the door and angle the screwdriver up to reach the screw.
