handle replacement assistance

Question

I purchased a home that had 2 sliding doors side by side. One slid open to the right, the other to the left. I need a replacement handle now for both. Please notify me when or if this product is available for purchase. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for contacting us! I've only seen this old handle set once or twice before. You probably aren't going to be able to find this anywhere. It hasn't been made in a long, long time.

Your best option is to see if you can use one of our surface-mount handle sets as a substitute. Consider our 82-005. I like this because it has its own mortise lock built into the handle. This means it doesn't rely on anything already in the door and it can install on just about anything. The downside is that it will likely require that you drill new installation holes for it. Look it over and let me know what you think.
