how do you adjust the locking hooks on the Multi point Mortice lock? Item # 82-265

Question

I recently purchased the Swisco Multi-point Mortice lock Item #82-265 and the hooks don't advance far enough to grab on to the keeper. (Also they wiggle enough to lose grasp) the area between the keeper hook "openings" is 5 and 1/8 in.

The hook on the left in the photo attached does not close as far as the right, so it doesn't securely latch. How can I adjust the hooks? No instructions were sent with the part.

Hello! There is a small, flat-head adjustment screw between each hook and the main installation screw. If you turn those, the hooks should extend or retract.
