I have the 70-009, and after watching the video to replace these I still have a question. should the fat end of the pin fit into the drill hole of the screen; or should it stop at the screen edge?

Thank you for contacting us. I hope I can help you with this.
The fat end of the pin should go into the screen so that it is flush with the screen for installation. There should be a large hole on the edge of your screen frame, and then a smaller hole toward the inside of your screen frame. The smaller hole is where the screen groove is. The "flat end," or large end of the pin, is put into the frame at the edge of the screen where that large hole is. Install the pin and the spring, then use a mallet to tap on the black end cap. Take another look at the video, as well as the guide below. Let me know if you're still unclear.
