interchangeability between these operators

A contractor from Santa Barbara, CA says:
Hi There, Are the 39-001&2 interchangeable with the 39-138&139 aside from the extra 1/2 inch on the arm?
Are the 39-138&139 the heaviest duty versions you have for this type?
Do the 39-138&139's come with handles? If not which ones would I order?
Thanks, Rick

Tom from SWISCO responded:
I don't believe they are interchangeable, no. Ignoring even the difference in arm length, the two different operator types use a different bearing at the end of the arm. You would have to change out the whole track, as well. We highly recommend replacing your hardware with exactly what you have installed now, if possible.

The 39-138 and 39-139 can use our 39-205 handle.
