key lock mechanism broken - need to replace

Handy Person from chicago IL
This is a jeld-wen door purchased from Menards approximately in 2014. I don't have a model number. The interior locking mechanism works if I remove the handles and insert a flathead screwdriver to open and close the lock, and the fixed hardware on the door frame is also intact. The Interior and exterior handles are also undamaged.

The part that needs replacement is the exterior key lock mechanism and it also has a brass extension stem which is not shown.

Hello, thank you for posting,

If the key lock is the only part that needs replacing, please start by taking a look at the 82-310 key lock. Review the dimensions below to confirm a good fit! Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Lauren, I am just getting back to this a year later.

Yes my key lock is the same dimensions as the 82-310 key lock. But there are more problems now. I also need the latch handle and the breakaway metal tab that goes into the door on the home side.

The current handles that I have are Amesbury and they are 10" long. If there is a Sliding Door set that fits what I have, I probably want to consider it.

And I also need the white plastic keeper plate that covers the locking mechanism inside the door. It is about 11.75 inches long and about .75 inches wide. If you don't have a white plastic keeper plate, I would also be interested in another color or material as long as it fits.

Hello,

It appears that your handle set has an offset thumb lever. Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 82-086 handle set that already has a key lock. Note that this handle set has a 3-15/16" installation hole spacing from center to center. Double check your original to see how it compares!

For the lock, unfortunately we do not carry the face plate separately. I recommend taking a look at the 82-265 mortise lock to see how it compares. This lock is used with the 82-249 keeper. Your original keeper may be compatible, but I cannot guarantee it.

Take a look and let me know what you think!
