Looks like the right measurements (close at least) but on mine the boots slide in a channel on the sash rather than a rod. Can this replace and does the kit contain all hardware to convert?

I hope you can imagine what it looked like. Here it is disassembled. It is actually in good condition except for the gears stripped. Wish I could buy just the top but really anything that I can put back in here to make it work.

It's very difficult to make out what you have. It does somewhat look like a very old style Andersen awning window operator that isn't made anymore. You can see a clearer example of it in this old thread. Is this what you have? If so, the 39-389 or 39-390 I recommended back then are the best matches we have, though I cannot guarantee if they will work.
