I found a handle that fits the door (your Legacy Keyed Handle Set 3-15/16" (1-1/8" to 2-1/2") but it does not have the lock, or that little hook that comes out and hooks to that little piece on the doorframe.
can you advise as to what handle and lock will work for this door
(I have looked around the door and inside it's frame to see who the manufacturer is and am not seeing anything as to who the maker is)

You have a version of the 82-002K handle set that was made for a thicker thermal break door. The bad news is that this particular version isn't made anymore.
If your existing key cylinder is in good working order and you have the hook and screws from your original set, you might be able to use those to convert the 82-002K to work on your larger door. I don't know for sure if that will work as I've never personally tried it but it's something to consider.
Another thought would be to adapt the surface mounted handle 82-005 with the 82-306 outside handle with key. Take note you might need to make up some flat cover plates to cover your existing cut out in the door, otherwise there will be a large hole in the frame.
