missing sash channel balance

The sash is 29 wide by 26 height and weights 7-8 pounds. The channel balance is missing and the end pieces are stuck to the sash. What size channel balance do I need to buy?

Hi Maria, see if you can look up at the top of the window track to check if there are 16-002 take out clips. If so pop both sides out, raise the sash past the take out clips and push the sash to either side to swing the sash out.
