mortise lock hardware.

Landlord from Fresno California
The part shown is in working condition. Unfortunately that is all we have. The renters dismantled the door hardware and we cannot find the missing pieces. Handles etc. Can you help?

We will definitely try our best. The part you're showing us closely resembles our 82-265. You may look over our measurements to confirm whether or not this part is compatible with yours. This lock set can be used with a a number of different replacement handle sets. In order to narrow down which one would work best for you, we will need to see photos of the door it will be installed on, the screw hole measurement spacing that is on the door now, and the thickness measurement of the door. From there, we will take a look and narrow down which replacement is a potential match.

The screw hole measurement spacing for the door handle set is 3 15/16". The door is 1 3/4" thick. Thanks

We will still need to see a photo of the original handle set to make a determination. In the meantime, you may have a look at the various types of handle sets we have to offer on our website here.

Unfortunately I don't have the original handle set. Just the insert in the door. I'm needing to buy a handle set. Seems to me that your handle set part number 82-086 fits these measurements.

The 82-086 is compatible with the mortise lock that you've shown us, but that's about all I can say. It has a 3-15/16" hole center spacing and it has a thumb lever mounted in the bottom position. This cannot be adjusted. I don't know what position your thumb lever had, but if it was centered then the 82-086 will not work. Just something to keep in mind.

Seems to be a bottom position for the thumb lock. Please see attached photo

If your thumb latch was in the bottom most position, and if the hole spacing was 3-15/16" center-to-center, then our 82-086 is our best option. However I cannot make any guarantees without seeing the original. The best we can do without a better reference is make an educated guess.
