Hi there,

I just spoke with one of your customer service representatives who advised me to email you.

My bathroom window mechanism broke and the bottom part of the window will not stay open. As per my window repair man, I guess the inside pivot shoe and coil snapped on the one side as well as both pivot bars on both sides of the bottom window.

To be safe, I would like to order all parts for both sides of the window. Can you please see the pictures that I’m including and let me know if you have these parts and how much they are? Depending on cost, I may order more for my repair man as he mentioned difficulty finding them locally.

For reference, I live in Windsor, ON Canada. I heard from customer service that you ship internationally, but depending on the shipping cost, it might make more sense to ship to my Detroit Michigan mailbox address as it’s a short ~15min drive for me.

Thanks for reaching out to us! This exact coil shoe is no longer available but the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe will work to replacement. Be sure to double check and compare the dimensions to confirm it'll be a fit.

The compatible coil for this shoe is the Series 152 Coil Balance. Since your is marked with a 5, you'll need the S152-5. It is secured to the shoe using the 33-072 screw.

You'll need to reuse your existing balance covers (supports) for the installation. If you need to replace them, you'll need to purchase the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.

The pivot bar can likely be replaced with the 26-226, but you'll need to find an undamaged one to compare the dimensions. If they are not a match, I'll need to see a photo of the undamaged pivot bar to identify the correct replacement.
