We can supply this balance, but only as a custom order due to its configuration. Before we go any further, can you show me a photo of the metal clip at the end of the cord? It appears to be missing from all of your photos. It would probably be best to get an undamaged version of this balance to do this.

Hi Tom,
It's a standard Caldwell hook type clip. If you show me a picture, I can identify it but I can't go back to the house. Let me know the price and lead time please.

There are no standard hooks for this kind of balance, unfortunately. There are multiple designs used on the extended travel and none are interchangeable.
The three most common are the 62-105, 62-106, and 62-108, but there are others that are special order and an only be identified by using the original as a reference.
Given that custom balances are non-refundable, I strongly recommend that you check before you buy anything. This is an important part of this kind of repair job and something that we request as a matter of policy.
