I ordered two track S385-28 (option 2740) to replace the ones I have labeled as 27-4 with wide 1/2" and thickness as 17/32. It appears that I ordered the wrong ones. The new tracks appear to be thicker than mine. The thickness of mine is 17/32", the S385-28 are 5/8". You can see the big difference. This made the window to jam and very hardly to operate. I need help on identifying the write product for me

Thanks for contacting us. The company that made your original balances tried to save money by making shallower channels. Unfortunately, they are now out of business, and the balances they made are not available anywhere.
The problem in your case actually isn't the metal channel, however, but the bottom shoe depth. The Series 385 uses a very deep shoe, 15-004, at 1-3/32". I think you might want to consider our Series 380 instead. This uses our 15-005 shoe, which is only 1" deep. That may not seem like much of a difference, but it can affect how the window operates. Measure the depth of your old shoe (heel-to-toe) and see if the Series 380 would be a better fit.
If it's still too thick, then your easiest solution would be to file down the shoe until the window operates well.
