need help identifying this balance

Question

I need to replace about six channel balances. The part # stamped on it is 26X. It appears similar to your S751-27 with the option 26tg, since the sashes weigh 29 pounds. These are from Marvin windows from 2005.
The length is 27" measured from each end of the metal. The width at each end is 9/16" but flares slightly at the center, about 1/32" wider than the ends (see photos). The depth of the channel is 5/8"

Thanks for writing in! There is a chance that we can provide you with a replacement balance, however, to be absolutely sure, I'll need to see a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window.

Although the balance may appear to look like the S751-27, it may not have the same attachments that this balance does. There are times the balance attachment looks slightly similar to the standard balance but it actually may be a custom attachment. So to ensure that we are providing you with the most accurate replacements, it would be best to see a photo the shoe in the last photo removed from the window.
