non-tilt channel balance

My channel balance explosively disintegrated in my window (sounded like a gunshot). Pulling out the pieces I found the length of the metal channel to be 29" (metal only). 19/32" wide (measured on the outer edges of the U), and 17/32" deep. The channel is stamped 28F. The end pieces are disintegrated but look very similar to your pictures (19-005, 15-004). Does this match any of your products?.

Thanks for posting! If your ends are the 19-005 and 15-004, then our S385-29 would be the best match for you. A stamp of 28F usually corresponds to our 2860 option, but you can always weigh your sash to confirm. Since your balances had such an explosive end, you might want to weigh your sash anyway, just to be 100% sure you're getting the proper strength springs.

Thanks, Tom
I took out the sash and weighed: 35 lbs. I also took a picture of the shoe from the intact balance (below). It looks very similar to pics from a previous question above (manufacturer no longer in business). But the depth of the shoe was a bit under an inch (not 1 3/32"). Wouldn't shoe 15-005 be a better fit?
