patio door handle

Hello,
Looking for a handle replacement like this. I am pretty sure 82-265 is the lock mechanisim portion but can you tell me what handle would go with it.
Thank you

Hi Stacey,

Thanks for writing in! The body of the mortise lock does look similar to the 82-265 but yours appear to be missing the faceplate. May I see a photo that piece of the lock?

Regarding the handle set, I'll need to see the placement of the holes on the door to determine the best replacement option for it. The distance between its installation holes should be a 3-15/16" spacing.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Hi there,
We are in a difficult position because we are trying to help an elderly customer find the replacement. Also we are a hardware store not a door specialist so this isn't exactly our territory. I have attached all the pictures that he has sent us. Does that help?

Yes, I understand. The information I am requesting will help me to identify the replacement hardware for the door; however, you (or the customer) will still need to compare the dimensions to confirm that these are the correct replacements.

That being said, the 82-265 does appear to be the correct replacement lock. It can be used with the 82-030 Sliding Patio Door Handle Set should be a fit for the door. If the customer is looking for a keyed lock for the door, I suggest taking a look at the 82-030A Centered Keyed Handle Set.
