58-085 7' Commercial Door Weatherstrip

Installed a center pivot double kawneer door and the doors a somewhat tight. Remved the wool pile and the doors operate properly. Install the pile and the door will not shut by themselves. do you make a wool pile that is under size the standard height.

Greetings, I am hoping to replace the weather stripping for our church doors. The doors are Kawneer; 83 1/2' tall by 1 3/4" wide. The wool pile door strips appears to be 1/2' wide and 1/4' tall. I just recieved my 58-085 weather strips. The first and last holes line up with the original holes, how ever the other ones do not match up at all plus the holes are to small for the fasteners. I have 14 of these things to install. I will have to redrill around 8 holes per strip or use small head ... (cont.)

I have a door needing new weatherstripping on it. It is an older Kawneer double acting and the weatherstrip has a stainless steel backing that is crimped over plastic backed weatherstripping. The crimp does not appear to be done by hand. The stainless backing measures .437 wide. Any ideas for a ... (cont.)

Does the 58-085 weatherstrip come in any other lengths of pile? The 1/2 inch width is good, but I need about 3/4 inch length of pile.

I have double glass doors (out swing) in my retail shop. The weatherstripping between the two doors looks like a u-channel that is 1/2" wide with screw holes every 8 3/4" - the screws go through the center of a spring, and then the brushes stick out to seal between the two doors. I had a glass company come out and give me a quote of $300 for a 10 foot piece of 1/2 LG 10 FT Wool Pile. They were charing $25 fort the wool pile and almost $275 labor. Yeah right. Do you have this wool pile?

I think your part number 58-085 will work but wanted to confirm. I have a 2 3/4" door. The channel is 1/2" Can this piece be cut in half for shipment? Also need astragal for the lock area. It measures 7 7/8"

For a double aluminum and glass door, the weatherstrip at the door meeting is something we have not run into before. It is worn-out and we are contracted to replace it.
