What is the correct pivot bar for the S140-10 Balance? The one I have doesn't seem to rotate the breaking system correctly. The one I ordered is just a hair to big to fit.

Thanks for writing in! The 26-030 is not typically used with the Series 140 Coil Balance assembly. May I see a photo of the original pivot shoe and the original pivot bar you are looking to replace. The photo this pivot bar indicates that you may have had either a different assembly or a different pivot bar installed in the window.

I don't have the original unless I take one out of an existing window. Now that it's turned colder here it might take some time for a warmup to be able to pull another window.

I understand. I'm sorry to say that I would not be able to confirm the pivot bar you need based on the photo of the existing pivot bar. What I can tell you is that the Series 140 is generally compatible with either the 26-398 or the 26-405. However, to confirm that either of these is the right fit, you'll need to carefully compare the dimensions. If neither of these is a fit, I'll need to see a photo of the existing parts when you are able.
