I am not sure on how to remove but that only is relevant if I find replacements

You have an old style coil spring balance system that the manufacturer has since replaced with the Series 140 Quick-Tilt System. The actual size should be 1-1/4" wide by 9/16" thick. See what you think. You will also need change the pivot bars. Our 26-398 or 26-405 may work, but you can show us the old pivot bar and tell us its dimensions to confirm.

I have since learned that the windows were made by Accu-Weld (later Haddon purchased them and went bankrupt.)I will measure again.
