pivot shoes

Quick Learner

Hi, im trying to replace the pivot shoes on my vertical sliding windows.

The part that seems to be closest is the 1/2 inch thick blue brake pivot shoe.

could you please tell me the part name or code for the arm that fits in the shoe.

Could you also tell me the difference between the blue brake and the others,

Thank You for your time.

Many Thanks.

Garry

Hi, Garry. I'm not sure what part it is you're talking about. Can you give me the product code?

As for the arm that lifts that shoe, it sounds like you're talking about the balance. I'll need a photo of it to determine what you might have.

Hi, this is the pivot shoe.
It measures 1 1/4''(one and a qaurter inches)wide.
2 1/4 wide(two and a quarter inches tall).
1/2 inch thick(half inch thick).
I have to replace quite a few on vertical sliding windows and would be very grateful if you could assist me in this with a part code or name.
Thank you so much.
Garry.

Sorry I should have said that the circular part that allows the tilt function broke and is missing from photo.
Thanks.
Garry.

Thanks! I understand now. Your exact style pivot shoe isn't made anymore, but based on the dimensions you gave us, I'm very confident that our 15-046 will work as a substitute. It's the same size and should interact with your existing hardware in the same way.
