plastic latch that moves the inside mechanism to lock is broke

Question

This is a 1964 door.  There is a screw sticking outside the side wall that inserts in the door hole.  The plastic lock handle that moves the door mechanism inside and moves up and down to lock the door is broken.  I am looking for a new hangle mechansim or just the lock switch.

Unfortunately, your handle set and lock are no longer available. The only handle I can think of that might work is the 82-005 but you would most likely need to drill new installation holes. I also don't see much room for you to install the keeper. Take a look at the 82-005, along with the related videos to see if you might be able to adapt our handle set to work for you.
