Series 152 but with an "5 K" stamp

I believe the shoe and coil are Series 152 double coil. coils are 1/2".

Coil balance shoe = 15-177 ??

Can not find any number/code on the ribbons other than one has " 5 K " on it.
Bottom of shoe is marked red. Can you help identify which coils I need??

If your old spring is marked with "5," then I would go with the S152-5. Each of these carries 5 pounds. Assuming you have one spring per side, then that adds up to 10 pounds of support.

If you wanted to confirm that this is right, you can weigh your sash on a scale to see if it weighs 10 pounds.

I agree that the 15-177 is a match.

Just to clarify, what I have is a DOUBLE coil setup, as pictured here. Only one of the coils has the 5K printed on it. Would u suggest 2 - 5lb coils on each side, or a single 5 lb coil on each side? Thanks again.

Most installers like to use the same strength spring across the board, so there's a good chance that you have four 5 pound springs in your window. However, you should check each spring to confirm. I don't like to guess.

If you can't find stamps on any of the other springs, a good way to confirm that is to weigh your sash on a scale. If it's 20 pounds, then you have your answer.
