question about the 16-002 take out clops

I have been using takeout clips 16-002 on my windows, but I noticed that the balancer was being held when I raised the window because the takeout clip was out. the problem is that I have two windows in close proximity to each other. When I push in one takeout clip one one side, the on on the window next to it is pushed out and engaging the balancer when I raise the window. Is there any takeout clips that are for use with windows that are close together?

I've honestly never heard of that situation before. That just sounds like bad window design.

I can only tell you with confidence that nothing we have works that way. One thing you could do is remove the take out clip on the other window entirely and just do away with it. If you ever need to take that particular balance or sash out, you can install a screw as a temporary measure. As long as it sticks up a little then it will catch the balance the same way. When you're doing, you can simply remove the screw.
