replacement coil balancers

Question

I've attached photo of broken coil balancer from 10 lb bathroom window. Both are broken and need replacement. End pivot bars match description of 26-040. I think the 140 series might work but they have difference end pivot bars suggested to match.

Thanks for writing in. Your Pivot Shoe actually more closely resembles our 15-180, which is indeed compatible with the 26-040 Pivot Bar. When replacing Coil Balance system, it's generally best to stick with the original kinds of components as much as you can. The 15-180 is compatible with Series 190 Coil Springs. Search your coil springs for a stamp number that indicates the spring weight you need. Let us know if you have any questions.
