Window Balance 28C 651

Question

The part I'm replacing is 28" in length and has a hook-like arrangement at the top to fasten it into the sash. your photos and the parts I received [being returned] have a straight section which appears to have a screw to fasten it to the sash.

number on part that is correct is 28C 6S1 [might be 651].

Thanks for posting. I'm not sure what balance this is, and I do not see an order placed under the email address you used to post this discussion. Can you show me a picture of the other end of the balance? I'd like to see the shoe or clip at the bottom. That will help us identify what you need.
