replacement locking mechanism

Question

Hello, I had previously ordered 82-249 and 82-265 but the faceplate (82-249)
does not line up correctly with 82 -249. I have enclosed pictures of the old lock and faceplate. I also attach a photo of 82-265 installed in the slider and it seems to fit perfectly. The problem is 82-249 is not lining up correctly. I believe I need
a different faceplate. Please advise.

Hello,

The 82-265 mortise lock and 82-249 keeper that you purchased are designed to work together and do look like our closest match to the hardware shown in your photos. I suspect that either the mortise lock hooks or roller height may need to be adjusted to correct the alignment problem that you're having. Take a look at the video below and if you're still having trouble after adjusting the hardware, let us know and we can go from there.

One other thing to note is that it also doesn't look like the keeper is installed in your door jamb yet based on your photos, so we may need you to elaborate on what you mean by it not lining up correctly. Thank you!
