replacement operator/actuator for Anderson swing-out window installed 1961.

Home Owner from Los Alamos New Mexico
the gear-head, where the window crank attaches, is stripped on our 1961 anderson tilt-out window.I have attached photos of an identical opened window, and of the damaged actuator and good crank. The crank is part no. 60-c-7041-62
I do not see a part number on the actuator. I will have to cut out part of the sill to remove the actuator, and am hoping to verify that a replacement part will/may be/won't be available before I cut into the sill.

Any help will be appreciated

You have an older style Andersen operator. I don't think an exact replacement will be available, but we do carry a few newer styles that I think will still work. They come in two different sizes: the 39-389 and 39-390. See which one would be a better match. Also see our 39-286 handle.

Now, these operators are still different from your original and may not be a 1:1 fit. It may require some measure of adaptation to get them to work. See what you think.
