replacement shoe to fit in indented channel balance

Hi! I hope you are well. I am trying to get replacement shoes for my window balance. I got 1" universal shoes from Swisco. They would have worked except that the end of the spring balance is curved in, so the shoe won't fit. You can see that in the second photo. The 3rd photo is shows the old shoe i am trying to replace. On the back side, it is indented to allow for the balance indent. The old shoe only has patent #'s on it, and a big 'E'. The other hardware and windows have no manufacturer info on them that I can find. They came with the house which is about 14 years old. I'm really hoping you can help me find replacement shoes, since I have about 10 windows (and counting) that need replacements, and the spring balance seems fine otherwise.

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Our shoes won't work in your balance due to that deep groove in the metal channel. We don't sell shoes that can work with this kind of balance, unfortunately. Our only confirmed solution is to replace the balance entirely with our Series 795.

You'll also note that the Series 795 comes with a 1-1/4" shoe by default, not 1" like yours. You'll still get use out of those 15-194 shoes that you purchased by popping them on the new balances when they arrive. The video below shows you how this can be done.
