Hi:

I would like to replace my window sash balances in about 5 windows around the house. They are double-hung windows about 20lbs each. That is about a total of 10 balances of the type in attached picture.

This looks like a 15-199 Pivot Shoe. This shoe uses either 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil Balances, or 3/8" thick Series 165 Coil Balances. You'll need to remove your balances and compare the thickness to determine which Series you need. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks for the reply. Just did a measurement, it is 3/8" thick. Do you have such window balance in stock?

Hey Ron, if the spring is 3/8" thick and it has a stamp of 4, then see our S165-4 4 lb spring.
