sash balance replacement

Question

I think the series 390 balance 34" long would match the old one but the only marking stamped on the original is k 33-3 and I'm not sure how that corresponds to the weight rating if at all. Also the 1/4 inch wide spring clip on the side of the window broke off and I'm not sure how to remove the remaining clip on the other side if I chose to replace that when I install the 2 new balances as recommended.......

A stamp of 33-3 usually corresponds to our 3330 option, but you can always weigh your sash and refer to the S390-34 chart to confirm.

I'm not sure about the clip. Do you mean the take out clip like our 16-002?
