series 795 channel balance

Question

We need 2 series 795 balances 21 inches. The old balance is stamped 20-9. We took the window sash out and weighed it. It is 31.1 pounds. Is option E strong enough for it Thanks.

Good morning! If your window sash weighs 31 pounds, then I do not think the 21E option will be strong enough. I recommend a 21G option, which will have to be custom made. Two S795-21 balances with a 21G option can carry a window sash weight of 30 through 34 pounds.
